Overview:

For the Trainee, there are a lot of things to cover. For this manual, we'll go over general safety rules, Trainee privileges, and company policy regarding internal issues, and media protocol.

Basic Ghostbusters International Safety Instructions

1) Always have at least one partner when going out on cases.
2) Always check your Radiation Meter color patch to see if your miniature reactor is leaking. Take 2 potassium iodide tablets and see a doctor, if the patch turns red.
3) All Proton Packs and any other radiological-grade equipment used in trapping or vanquishing ghosts, must be stored in radiation-shielded compartments when not in-use.
4) Covered more in-depth during Basic Ghostbuster Training, proton-based weapons must never connect their plasma streams with another's plasma stream.
5) Any ghostbusting vehicle transports, or equipment that emitts radiation, MUST have a Radialogical warning sticker on it.

Media Interaction Protocol

In dealing with questionable media outlets, the official policy is to avoid those infamous for doing hack-jobs on Ghostbusters International or any other paranormal-related company. For those outlets that are unknown in this department or neutral, GI's PR department in NY HQ recommends these options:

* Give Tours of Your Facility To Press Outlets

* Follow Scripts Pre-Written or Approved by the Station Chief

* If Outlets Seek Proof of Paranormal Activity, Provide Proof

* Never Tell the Media About Our Nuclear Arsenal

Internal Information

Ghostbusters International prohibits going outside the company to talk about our policies, procedures, and problems. If there is a problem, GI employees should seek the proper channels.

Topics such as your salary and any cases the Government has issued gag orders on, are also not to be discussed with anyone inside or outside the company (unless the person already knows about the top-secret case).

Trainee Privelages

For Level 1-rated Ghostbusters or higher, full privileges are granted to them at whichever GB station they are assigned to. For the Trainee, company policy dictates these restrictions:

1) Pay is $8 per hour until you attain Level 1, at which, your agreed salary will kick in.
2) Trainees are not allowed to live outside the GB station's housing until they reach Level 1.
3) Trainees are not allowed to handle radiological equipment unless supervised by an experienced ghostbuster.
4) Trainees must have their rank on their collar tabs, when wearing the protective suit.
